Privacy Policy
EasyVendor Africa · Accra, Ghana
Who we are
EasyVendor Africa ("EasyVendor", "we", "us") installs and operates smart vending machines at host locations in Ghana. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through easyvendorafrica.com.
Information we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us:
- Host-location enquiries: your name, organisation, phone number, email address, and details about the site such as location type, city, estimated foot traffic, operating hours and available power.
- Contact messages: your name, email address, optional phone number and the content of your message.
- Refund or payment queries: the transaction reference, machine or location, item, amount and time you provide so we can verify the transaction.
- Basic technical data: standard server and security logs generated when a browser loads the site.
We do not collect card numbers, mobile money PINs or any payment credentials on this website. Payments happen at the machine and are processed by our licensed payment provider.
Why we use it
We use your information to assess whether a location is suitable for a machine, to respond to your enquiry, to manage our host pipeline and machine operations, to investigate and resolve payment or refund requests, and to keep the website secure. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
Sharing
We share information only where necessary: with the service providers who host our website and database and who process payments for our machines, and where we are required to do so by law or to establish or defend legal claims. Those providers act on our instructions and are bound by their own confidentiality and security obligations.
Storage and security
Enquiry data is stored in our secure cloud database. Access is limited to authorised EasyVendor team members through individual accounts and role-based permissions, and data is protected in transit using encryption. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
How long we keep it
We keep host-location and contact records for as long as needed to evaluate and manage the relationship, and afterwards only where we need it for legal, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes. Records that are no longer needed are deleted.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Send your request through the contact form and we will respond within a reasonable time. Our handling of personal data is governed by Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage needed for the website and the private staff area to function, such as keeping a signed-in team member's session. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy we will update this page. Questions or requests: use the contact form.
